Freedom Ventures is a fully licensed gun dealer and importer located in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

We are specialists in Action / Extreme Shooting; IPSC, IDPA, Multi Gun, 3 gun, etc.

We are the exclusive Canadian Distributor for STI International & Tanfoglio firearms, Bul Armory, Aftec 1911 pistol extractors,  Rescomp (CR Speed) Holsters and Pistol accessories & C-More systems Sights.   

We are also Canadian distributors for Magnum Research. 

We are regulars on the IPSC Major Match circuit; attending every Canadian National Championship since we started and are often the match sponsor, if not one of the major sponsors.

The president of the company is Sean Hansen, multiple divisional, multiple year provincial champion in IPSC in Nova Scotia. 

Sean is also the section coordinator for IPSC Nova Scotia and President and Regional Director of IPSC Canada since 1997 (http://www.ipsc-canada.org/). He also is the president of the Atlantic Marksmen Association gun club. (www.atlanticmarksmen.ca)

Sean regularly ranks high on the IPSC Canada National Rankings, attaining a personal best of 4^th nationwide and has represented Team Canada as a national team member in  2011 at the WSXVI in Greece and Pan Americans in 2018 in Jamacia and 2022 in Thailand.

Also on staff is James Smith, an active IPSC Canada Competitor, Past National Champion in Classic and Range Master. Wade MacKay, Multi-time Nova Scotia Provincial Champion in Open and Ricky Sarty, Customer service representative extrordinaire. With this team, we can offer you the knoweldge and experience to ensure your purchase from us pays off in compettiion.  

Freedom Ventures staff prides itself on its knowledge of the firearms that we represent and their uses in Canada and strives to maintain excellent customer service.

Since the majority of our business is conducted wholesale to dealers or mail order, we do not operate a drop in store in Halifax, but can work things out if you want to meet.

Our Mission is to provide affordable quality shooting products to the competition shooter and help to keep the firearms community alive in Canada.
